'Atlas Copco AirPower Central Asia' LLP looking for Logistics Specialist (Almaty citizen, for local staff). 

Your Role: 

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team in Almaty, Kazakhstan. 
To succeed, you will need:

• Common sense is however your key tool, along with empathy, listening skills and the ability to persuade.

Responsibilities:

• Order Management:
  • Track and monitor local equipment and spare parts orders from shipment readiness to delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of factory invoices in the invoice registration file and folder.
  • Verify shipping documents and implement necessary corrections.
• Logistics Coordination:
  • Liaise with transport companies to organize shipments under FCA terms.
  • Monitor and analyze transport company rates to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Code transport company invoices within the internal system.
  • Provide necessary invoices to customs brokers for clearance.
• Claims and Issue Resolution:
  • File and manage claims with transport companies for shipping discrepancies or damages.
  • Participate in inspections as required.
  • File and track claims with factories and distribution centers, documenting them in the claims file.
  • Generate requests in the Factory Database and/or communicate with customer contacts and shipment coordinators regarding local order shipping delays.
  • Verify local spare part order status at all stages of the process, including production, customer communication, and seller updates.
• Data Management:
  • Gather and compile data on additional shipping and logistics expenses.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Logistics or a related field.
• Language Proficiency: English language skills (Pre-Intermediate level or higher).
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a logistics or order management role.
• Skills:
  • Proven ability to manage and process a high volume of information.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes.
  • A technical aptitude is desirable.
