Leybold USA Sales and Distribution Channel Data Analyst Intern
Location: Export, PA 15632
Wage: $21 per hour
In-Office: M-F 8AM - 5PM EST
This internship will run from June 9, 2025 to August 15, 2025

The Sales and Distribution Channel Data Analyst will analyze sales data to create an improvement strategy for market specific pricing, track online pricing, design and generate reports, help to define a leverage for internal data to drive pricing, and utilize data with appreciation to support direct and indirect sales and marketing strategies.
Main Responsiblities:
Work directly with our industry leading Sales Engineers, Product Sales Development Managers and Sales Managers.
Analyze sales data and pricing trends to help improve market specific pricing.
Track online vacuum pump technology pricing to gain and understanding of current online market pricing.
Design and generate reports, dashboards and visualizations to present data to the management team.
Attend sales meetings; business functions; sales and service calls; customer meetings alongside experienced account managers and mentors.
Build a foundation for leveraging internal data to drive pricing and market focused sales strategies.
Gain an appreciation for the utilization of data to support and/or drive direct and indirect sales and marketing strategies.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 5-10 pounds. This position requires frequent computer use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
This position requires occasional travel for 5% of the position, results of overnight or multiple days.
This position requires 100% in office work.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
Education level:
Must be a Junior or Senior Computer Scientist, Management Information Systems, Business/Marketing Analyst, or Industrial Engineering at an accredited college or university.
Relevant Previous experience:
No experience required
Knowledge areas/Skills:
Good analytical and creative problem-solving skills to develop solutions to exceptional problems outside the box.
Proficient in Excel and/or Python, Tableau, PowerBI experience.
Self-motivated, independent, flexible, organized, and methodical.
Results driven: Utilize ambition and effort to achieve results and accept accountability.
Be adaptable in a new environment.
Other requirements:
Must be able to obtain authorization to work in the U.S. for the summer.
