Your Role
- Supplier Management:
- Develop and maintain a robust supplier quality assurance program.
- Conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and company requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Quality Assurance and Control:
- Develop inspection plans and quality control procedures for supplier-provided products and components.
- Perform incoming inspections and testing to verify supplier compliance.
- Review and approve supplier documentation, such as quality plans, test reports, and certificates of conformity.
- Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions:
- Investigate quality issues related to supplier-provided products and components.
- Perform root cause analysis and work with suppliers to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Track and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions taken by suppliers.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier quality performance.
- Collaborate with suppliers on quality improvement projects and best practices.
- Monitor industry trends and incorporate new quality assurance techniques and tools.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain detailed quality assurance records and reports.
- Summarize supplier performance metrics and provide regular updates to management.
- Assist in the preparation of quality-related documentation for internal and external audits.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with procurement, engineering, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of supplier quality practices.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and suppliers to address quality concerns effectively.
- Training and Mentorship:
- Provide training to suppliers on quality standards, inspection techniques, and problem-solving methodologies.
- Mentor junior quality engineers and contribute to their professional development.
To succeed, you will need
Education & Experience
- College or undergraduate degree in engineering, quality management or related fields
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supplier quality assurance, preferably in the automation equipment manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other quality management standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.

- Fluent in English speaking and writing
- Good communication skills with different stakeholders, at all levels of hierarchy
