Most of us have thought about our future professional lives and how to get to where we want to be. What is often missing is someone who has the experiences and insights to provide professional guidance. For example, to support and evaluate different opportunities.
That is why Atlas Copco Group offers local mentoring programs around the world. We aim to develop participants' skills through open and honest discussions about possible challenges and opportunities ahead. A mentorship program should be a chance to learn what it is like to work in a company like ours.
Sweden – Mentoring program for women at university
An example of these initiatives is the mentoring program for women at university, offered in Sweden. The purpose of this program is to increase interest and understanding amongst female university students of what it is like to work in a high-tech and global industrial Group.
