Stockholm, Sweden, June 2, 2010: Atlas Copco Tools & Assembly Systems LLC has agreed to take over the sales and marketing of products and services in southern United States from its current distributor Tooling Technologies Inc. The agreement further strengthens Atlas Copco’s presence, market coverage and support to customers in the region.

Tooling Technologies had revenues in 2009 of approximately MUSD 12 (MSEK 90). Sales are in Texas and surrounding states, including northern Mexico. Customers are in the motor vehicle industries and general industries, as well as segments such as petrochemical/oilfield, power generation, government, electronics and aerospace.
Atlas Copco and Tooling Technologies have made a mutual agreement to fully transfer the distribution of the Atlas Copco products and services to Atlas Copco Tools & Assembly Systems LLC in the territory. Customers in Mexico will be transferred to the Atlas Copco Customer Centre in Mexico.
