Atlas Copco acquires Canadian compressor distributor

Stockholm, Sweden, September 9, 2015: Atlas Copco, a leading provider of sustainable productivity solutions, has acquired Air Repair Sales and Services Limited, which distributes, services and rents out compressors and accessories.
Air Repair Sales and Services is based in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, and has 12 employees.  The company, which was privately owned, is an authorized Atlas Copco distributor that sells and services industrial air compressors and air treatment systems. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. “This acquisition fits us nicely as it enhances our access to the market in eastern Canada,” said Nico Delvaux, President of Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business area. “It gives us an opportunity to expand our regional coverage through an experienced and well-trained staff that serves a loyal customer base.”  The acquired company becomes part of Atlas Copco Compressors Canada and the Compressor Technique Service division.
