Nacka, Sweden, March 21, 2025: MSS Nitrogen Ltd. and three connected companies (collectively “MSS Nitrogen”) have become part of the Atlas Copco Group.
UK-based manufacturer of gas generation systems has become part of Atlas Copco Group

MSS Nitrogen specializes in the design and manufacturing of onsite gas generation systems, gas mixers and filtration for laser cutting applications and has locations in UK and in USA. As part of the acquisition 44 employees will join Atlas Copco Group.
“I am pleased to say that this acquisition further enhances the solutions we can provide to our customers in the laser cutting industry and enlarge our portfolio of on-site gas generation”, said Philippe Ernens, President for the Compressor Technique Business Area.
The purchase price is not disclosed. In 2024, net revenues amounted to approximately
MGBP 17 (238 MSEK*).
MSS Nitrogen becomes part of the division Air and Gas Applications within the Compressor Technique Business Area.
