Ensuring the safety, health and well-being of our employees

Creating a safe working environment and addressing occupational health and safety risks are important to us. We promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement, with regular monitoring and reporting of safety performance.

A culture of awareness

Employees face various risks in their daily work, both within controlled environments and during travel or site visits. We promote a culture of safety and well-being, encouraging the reporting of near-misses, incidents, and risk observations to raise awareness and develop effective preventative measures.

Robust safety standards

Our global Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) policy mandates high safety and well-being standards, including risk assessments, training, and transparent reporting. Each division sets targets and action plans to improve safety practices, overseen by our SHEQ Council.

Management system

All Group companies must have a verified SHEQ management system, with larger entities certified to ISO 45001. This system includes regular risk assessments and follow-ups on safety processes for both our workplaces and business partners.

Safety, health and well-being are part of our Group targets. Our key performance indicators focus, among other things, on our employees' well-being.

Targets and progress

Safety, health and well-being are part of our Group targets. We strive to continuously increase the number of employees who agree that we take a genuine interest in their well-being. At the same time, we also strive to continuously decrease the number of recordable injuries per million working hours.

Key performance indicators are monitored and reported quarterly. Our employee engagement survey tracks progress, aiming for continuous improvement in well-being perceptions. We use a safety pyramid model to balance reports of risk observations, near misses, and injuries, guiding our preventive efforts.

Product safety commitment

We are committed to developing, manufacturing, and selling safe, reliable, and ergonomic products. Ensuring product safety is integral to our development process and essential for maintaining long-term customer relationships and protecting our brand.
