Edmac Europe is an ambitious customer-driven company, which sells components for compressors to customers from across the world. As part of an industry leader within this market, our aim is to be the one-stop-shop for all organizations who want to procure parts, consumables or lubricants for compressors and industrial utility rooms. Our customers are all small to medium-sized companies, located in over 60 countries.
To further support our growth, we are currently looking for a Business Development Officer.
Responsibilities:
As a Business Development Officer, your responsibilities are:
Search for growth opportunities in your region by, i.e., increasing market share:
Expanding the product portfolio of existing customers
Acquiring new customers
Converting leads into long-term cooperation
Support our customer centers in the further development of competitor service
Grow the Edmac ratio (=ratio of equivalent parts vs OEM parts) in your regions
Structure and develop the best-in-class customer experience
Create business plans for your region
Cold calling
Keeping the CRM up to date (MoM, calls)
Creating quotes (acquisitions, specific regions, etc.)
In absence of colleagues, you support in the back-up of quotes
Requirements:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and result-driven, no-nonsense professional with ideally a background in internal sales and/or business development:
Bachelor's degree and/or 2 to 5 years’ experience in a similar function
Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), experience with ERP systems is an advantage
Knowledge of English is necessary
