Governance

Introduction to corporate governance

Corporate governance is the system of rules, practices and processes by which a company is directed and controlled, and secures long-term growth.

Good corporate governance is not only about following applicable rules; it is also about doing what is right.

The challenge for Atlas Copco Group is how to strike the right balance between risk and control in a decentralized management model. The overall goal is sustainable productivity, profitability and governance. Atlas Copco AB is incorporated under the laws of Sweden and listed on Nasdaq OMX Stockholm. It is governed by Swedish legislation and regulations, primarily the Swedish Companies Act, but also the rules of Nasdaq OMX Stockholm, the Swedish Corporate Governance Code, the Articles of Association, and other relevant legislation.

Corporate governance reports

Corporate governance reports can be found in the Atlas Copco Annual Report in the section Corporate Governance.
