As part of our digital transformation strategy, the GAP division plans to deploy a global software platform for electrical design and P&ID generation. This implementation aims to utilize marked leading solutions to enhance our efficiency.
To guarantee the project's success, we are looking for a Project Manager EPLAN (f/md) to lead the initiative from the initial planning stages through to its successful completion.
This role will oversee the definition of the various phases, schedule, scope and budget management for the project and will also work with stakeholders from all GAP product companies in the US, Germany, India, China and Korea to gather and define requirements, create global templates, establish workflows and identify best practices.
This project is limited for 2 years and the Project Manager EPLAN (f/m/d) will report to the Engineering Operations Manager.
Inspiring - your new tasks:
- Responsible for schedule, scope, budget and quality
- Define scope and roll out plan of EPLAN and P&ID Software
- Collaborate closely with all internal and external stakeholders, such as engineering managers, I&C engineers, IS/IT, PLM, other divisions, external partners
- Coordinate and synchronize standard templates, workflows, and best practices among GAP product companies globally
- Establish a global user support framework including a training program and an international key user network
- Create a governance strategy for master data management that includes standardizing and managing global component libraries, along with establishing a procedure for their upkeep
- Collaboratively define the EPLAN Interface between PLM and SAP alongside the GAP PLM and GAP IS teams
- Change management and communication including regular progress reporting
Convincing -what you bring to the table:
- University degree, e.g. Master’s in technical /engineering field, preferably electrical engineering
- Proficiency in ECAD (EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, Zuken) or P&ID software systems is a plus
- Familiar with SAP, PLM, MS Office software, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Experience in Project Management, ideally in software rollouts
- At least 3 years of work experience in relevant field, e.g. Engineering or R&D
- Experience with Engineering systems (PLM/PDM) is a plus
- Creativity and the ability to get buy-in on ideas to foster positive change
- Strong communication skills at all levels, organizational and planning skills
- Intercultural competence and willingness to travel internationally is required
