We are looking for Sales Engineer for our Brand Portfolio business, this position will direct reported to our Business Line Manager Brand Portfolio.

Your Mission

  • Develop & implement effective business plan (sales coverage and competency development) to support Brand Portfolio's mission & growth plan.
  • Develop a strategy to recruit new distributors and resellers guided by effective territory management
  • Develop and maintain a motivated distribution network to become market leaders in the Industrial and professional market segment

Responsibility

  • To achieve results as per targets set and agreed with upline manager.
  • To lead, develop, motivate, and support distributors, maximizing their performance and ensuring the right directions are given through coaching and leadership thereby achieving maximum profitability and sustainable growth in line with Group’s vision and values.
  • To seek and qualify new distributor as per targets set.
  • Pursue sales lead, promote product and conclude order with professionalism.
  • Liaise with internal colleagues to coordinate activities in executing sales order.
  • Feedback and make report as per requirement on all sales related activities and market information
  • Primary objective is to sell equipment but also to be accountable for aftermarket issues which then are relayed to the aftermarket department.  Single point of contact for customers and distributors
  • Develop incentive scheme for distributors / resellers
  • Define pricing & discount structures in conjunction with upline manager
  • Cooperate with marketing team in marketing activities and market analysis
  • Update Market Share on quarterly basis
  • Maintain updated info regarding competition activities and pricing
  • Compile and submit monthly reports on sales, lost orders and competition.
  • Continuously improve job required competence, personality and behavior.
  • Cooperate with Credit Department to improve the performance of receivables & overdue

To succeed, you will need

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Marketing discipline but not essential.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Knowledge of Brand Portfolio product range is an advantage
  • Computer literate
  • Customer Relationship / Retention skill
  • Good command of English is essential
  • Presentation Skill, Business Writing Skill, Negotiation Skill, Socializing Skill, Selling Skil

Experience Requirements

  • Proven track record of sales & marketing in industrial sales environment

  • Self-motivated and confident
