Your Role
- Achieve sales targets according to defined Business Line (BL) plan, as described in current VCP Letter
- Drive maximum utilization of business opportunities within given are and product range utilizing all available channels and support functions securing highest achievable customer satisfaction in line with company standards and policies
- Find and develop new customers according to current BL plan
- Take care & further develop existing accounts and spend most available with customers
- Monitor and report the market situation and competition activities in the assigned area
- Develop and increase market share in the assigned area by planning & performing activities defined in current BL plan, transform customers to increase market size
- Identify, record and maximize business opportunities within assigned area
- Actively participate on regular BL planning and revision process
- Maintain overdue invoices of own customers in the assigned area, actively use Collection database, plan and execute appropriate actions to ensure collection
- Actively participate on marketing BL plan activities
- In line with set standards and in requested time report all planned & performed activities in ISIS system, maintain Opportunity database reports and prepare & deliver monthly report
- Report forecast results in format and time specified by reporting manager or BL manager
- Report travel expenses completely and in time in line with internal rules
- Follow and execute IMS policy, objectives, processes and programs, particularly those linked to job performed (e.g. Sales process), actively monitor changes in these standards in order to maintain up-to-date knowledge of the processes
- Act fully in line with Business Code of Practice, The Way We do Things standards, OH&S rules and other internal standards as well as legal regulations relevant for the job performed
- Take full responsibility and ownership of own professional development and actively participate on development activities in line with set development plan
- Execute other job related activities assigned by reporting manager or BL manager
To succeed, you will need
- Education: min. secondary school + graduation, technical education preferred
- Languages: local + English, level: fluent
- PC skills: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
- Driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area
- Min. 2 years of relevant experience (active sales in field, focus on technical or industrial products preferred)
- Independent, self managed, success-motivated, enthusiastic personality
- Proactivity, ability to plan and prioritize own work efficiently
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Team-player
- Ability and willingness to work home-based
