Your Role
CPC Pumps International Inc. is a part of the Atlas Copco Group, a world-leading industrial group present in more than 180 countries, over the span of approximately 150 years. CPC Pumps specializes in designing, manufacturing, testing, and servicing of engineered heavy duty process centrifugal pumps (fully API 610 Compliant) for the CCUS, Green Energy / Circular Economy, H2, LNG, Chem-Petrochem and power-generating industry since 1957.
CPC Pumps is looking for a talented professional to join our team to fill the role of Shop Technician (Test Setup) – Afternoon Shift.
Afternoon shift hours (approximately): Monday to Thursday from 2:45 pm to 1:15 am.
Purpose
Shop Technician (Test Setup) – Afternoon Shift sets up all test floor piping, equipment, and valves for pump performance test.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Sets up equipment on test floor for pump performance test
• Assists Testing / Production Management team in performance testing operations and the recording of all required data from instrumentation during testing
• Take instruction from the Test Technician / Supervisor to set up and conduct pump testing operations scheduled for jobs, service, or repair
• Perform basic pump disassemble and reassemble with minimal supervision
• Maintain and organize test stand area for safe operation
To succeed, you will need
Qualification Requirements
• Mechanically inclined, familiar with handling tools and mechanical equipment
• Knowledgeable in basic pump assembly and disassembly, with minimal supervision
• Familiar with pump and motor operating requirements
• Good Communication skills
Education and/or Experience
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-2 years experience in a similar function and/or manufacturing/industrial environment is preferred
Physical Demands
• Office environment involves sedentary work with repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where problems occur and workload is heavy

Work Environment
• Work environment involves working in both the warehouse and office settings
• Warehouse environment involves ability to work in a high noise area, work around forklifts, machines, and equipment.
• Must wear personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and steel toed boots, while working in warehouse
• Must be aware of and comply with all relevant safety policy and procedures
