Your mission
A logistic engineer within the Power Technique Service division (PTS) is responsible to implement and follow up the logistic strategy within the division, the customer centers and the distribution centers. The focus areas are digitalization, efficiency gains, creating an ‘easy to deal with’ environment and competence development.
The role
Support customer centers globally with their (local) logistic challenges, improvement projects/processes
- Be the link between the division and our distribution centers
- Support on the logistic part of PTS projects
- Initiate and lead projects to minimize total logistic costs and/or improve service within the supply chain: be responsible for the full end-to-end project, align with project members, and make sure the project is done within the defined time frame and costs.
- Optimize global inventory, transport and scrap
- Support and facilitate our spare parts release process
- Train and empower logistic responsible people in the customer centers
Skills and experience
- Master degree in Economics or engineering
- Fluent in Dutch and English both verbal and written is required
- Project management skills: leading projects from start to finish within the budget and ensure a correct implementation, while taking into account the interests of all stakeholders
- Communicate with influence
- Capability to understand and improve processes
- Strong analytical skills
- Eager to learn
