Your Role

In order to further accelerate growth for Brand Portfolio China we are looking for a Product Manager for oil-injected screws >160 kW in Pan-Asia Product Company

Strong collaboration with the Chinese customer centers and Industrial Air divisional Marketing team will be key for you to succeed in the position.

Mission

Support the mission of market share growth and profitable revenue growth for your product line in Brand Portfolio China, by assuring the success of new products launched through:

o   Development of the product roadmap,

o   Proactive product launches

o   Providing high level product competence development

o   Create a high-level customer experience together with operations team in Pan-Asia Product Company, exceeding customer expectations in terms of reliability, customer service, marketing and training support.

o   Create a culture of continuous improvement within both Product Company and Customer Center within the strategic pillars of cost leadership, product leadership and time to market.

This Product Manager Brand Portfolio will report to the VP Marketing Brand Portfolio and administratively to the General Manager of the Product Company Pan-Asia.

Job description

As Product Manager for Brand Portfolio for oil injected screw >160 kW, you will further accelerate market share growth and profitable revenue growth for Brand Portfolio China, with increasing customer satisfaction.

  • Be responsible for the product development strategy and roadmap of all oil-injected screw >160 kW manufactured for the Chinese market. You will safeguard that specific needs for China (also in line with future Industry and Country standards) are covered.
  • When developing the product strategy, you must pay close attention to and leverage from opportunities that will come from the climate challenge, making sure we are also best-in-class when it comes to CO2 emissions.
  • Ensure that Master Spec for those projects are available and ensure all focus is given to ensure "OTIF" delivery with highest reliability
  • Lead product development projects throughout the product life cycle, starting from project feasibility, master specification, marketing promotion, until quality feedback, and customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for all China marketing intelligence, including competitor testing.
  • Creating training materials for customer centers to ensure our products can be sold OTIF from the start of series production, maximizing our value proposition and streetfighter benefits.
  • Manage professional product launches via teleconference, webinar, or events to ensure product values are conveyed to the marketplace.
  • Generate a pricing strategy following the standards used in the Group. Actively perform price management, to provide a comprehensive pricing structure for each of our brand and product positioning, in respect of our fundamental brand & offer value positioning.
  • Team up with product managers in the customer centers and division (both equipment and CTS) to provide state of the art product support and business strategy development supports.
  • Make up-to-date marketing information available for existing product lines in our MBP, showpad,… Focus on delivery of high quality marketing materials.
  • Ensure products are promoted though innovative business support, tools or application to attract both direct and indirect sales channels with innovative supports, and increase loyalty of existing partners and customers.
  • Empower communication activities to be the driver in product launches and brand management. You work closely together with the communication team in Pan-Asia and Division.
  • Have a close interaction with Pan Asia General Manager, your administrative reporting function, and the Pan Asia Management Team
  • Support VP Marketing Brand Portfolio in other specific projects, when required.

You will be located in Pan-Asia Product Company, Wuxi.

Regular traveling in China will be required.

 
To succeed, you will need  

Experience requirements

  • The successful local candidate should preferably have an engineering degree with 5 years of relevant experience in sales and (product) marketing management.
    Good command of English and Chinese is required.
  • Good product technical knowledge and project management skills are mandatory.
