Mission

We need to strengthen the tax department and we are therefore looking for a Tax Specialist, who will assist the Head of Legal and Tax to ensure appropriate tax compliance obligations, income tax calculations, tax returns, financial statements and implementation of tax strategies.

Main Tasks

-    Autonomously fill in and remit tax returns and financial statements, ensure tax compliance on accurately and timely manners

-    Stay abreast of changing tax laws and enhancements in technology and software
-    Analyze and interpret tax laws and regulations 

Knowledge
-    Strong knowledge of Italian tax regulations and tax compliance
-    Ability to evaluate tax risks, and make recommendations that are objective, practical, technically appropriate, and supportive of the Business
-    Knowledge of accounting principles (Italian GAAP and IFRS)
-    Excellent computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel, SAP, tax software packages
-    Good command of English.

Experience requirements
-    At least 5 years of experience in dealing/working with Italian tax law, tax regulations, tax audits, tax planning and tax reporting, preferably in tax consulting firms as well as tax departments of multinational companies
-    Experience in filling in and/or reviewing Italian tax returns and statutory financial statements
-    Experience in transfer pricing is a plus

Educational requirements
-    University degree in Economics or equivalent
-    A Master degree in Tax is preferred
