Epiroc hosts its first Capital Markets Day

Stockholm, Sweden, May 30, 2018: Epiroc AB, the company that the Atlas Copco Group will dividend out to its shareholders next month, today hosts its first annual Capital Markets Day, in Örebro, Sweden. The event will present the trends and characteristics of Epiroc’s markets and businesses, and its strategy.

"We are starting the journey as an independent company fully focused on providing innovative solutions that increase customers’ productivity, safety and energy efficiency." In the first quarter 2018, Epiroc’s orders received increased organically by 21% and reached over SEK 10 billion. Epiroc confirms that it believes demand in the second quarter will remain on similar level as in the first quarter. The Capital Markets Day includes presentations by Per Lindberg; Anders Lindén, Chief Financial Officer; Helena Hedblom, Senior Executive Vice President Mining and Infrastructure; and other members of management. The presentations will include for example how Epiroc’s innovations and strategies in automation, digitalization, battery-operated equipment and aftermarket support help customers increase their productivity in a sustainable way. The program includes an exhibition of Epiroc’s products and services. Epiroc’s first day of trading on the Nasdaq Stockholm stock exchange is planned for June 18.
