Colombian compressed air business has become part of Atlas Copco Group

Nacka, Sweden, February 5, 2025: The compressed air business unit of Colombian industrial company IMOCOM S.A. has become part of Atlas Copco Group.

The business is based in Bogotá with branches in Barranquilla, Medellin and Cali and has a wide range of industrial customers.

“With this acquisition we strengthen our market presence and footprint across Colombia for the compressor business”, said Philippe Ernens, Business Area President for Compressor Technique.

The purchase price is not disclosed. During 2023 the business unit had revenues of 18.7 BCOP (47 MSEK*).

The acquisition includes 36 employees, and the business becomes part of the service division within the Compressor Technique Business Area.
